Tama Group – The place to find porducts and solutions for
Remote Sensing – Image Intelligence | Digital Management for Forest and Environment

Our Story
The Tama Group has been in business for over 10 years.
In May 2015, Ralph Humberg, a graduate engineer with experience in numerous prominent international companies, established the Tama Group in Munich’s western suburbs.
The Tama Group has a foundation in remote sensing and image analysis. We provide our clients with the tools necessary to obtain quantifiable information from images, utilizing satellite, aerial, or drone imagery to achieve a comprehensive view from above. At our company, we do not directly operate satellites, airplanes, or drones. However, we specialize in enabling the automated evaluation of images and data using AI.
The Tama Group’s strategic focus is on two key business areas:
- eCognition – Trimble’s AI software. We provide a range of tailored services that align with the diverse capabilities of the software. We have developed a range of applications for use in a variety of fields.
- WaldCursor – Digital Management for Forest and Enwironment.

Our Vision

In recent years, we have placed a further emphasis on leveraging our expertise in digitalization and remote sensing for digital management in forest and environment
This initiative aims to facilitate the adoption of digital technologies by small businesses in the forestry and environmental sectors. The WaldCursor is a digital solution that facilitates planning, documentation, and analysis of measures in forestry and environmental sciences such as Initial Capture | Forest Conversion | Foresty Health | Monitoring | Inventory | Way Safety | Commissioning | Habitats.
“Let’s work together on forestry and the environment. Let’s combine your hands-on experience with our expertise in remote sensing and digitization. Field projects demand experience, solid planning, and top-notch tools. But they also require the right data. With the WaldCursor, you can plan your measures in the field digitally right from the start, implement them professionally in the field and inspect them from anywhere.”
