Projects
With WaldCursor, you can organize your orders, measurements, and actions into projects. These projects act as folders for all relevant information. The respective project team has access to all stored information via the project folder. The associated content is listed in a table with categories such as Images | Tasks | Memos | Document/PDF.
From this table, team members can select, edit, and add to the various elements. You can add entries to Tasks and create links to content from the album. This ensures that the projects are always up to date for everyone involved.

Add User
As account holder, you have the option to extend invitations to other users to collaborate with you on your WaldCursor account. You have the autonomy to determine the organisational structure of the collaboration by assigning users a role that is linked to specific options.
Role Model
For each project, add responsible service providers, business partners and employees to share information and images directly in the WaldCursor. You can transfer tasks, document their completion, update descriptions, and much more.
Work independently or in collaboration with others, either in smaller or larger teams.

Task
The Task indicates areas for which the project team can receive GPS-accurate information and work instructions. Selecting the Task symbol on the map activates drawing mode. Corner points for the Task area can now be set on the map. Drawing mode is finalized by clicking on the first corner point. Each Task is given a unique ID number. Tasks can be displayed directly on the map from the project folder.
Memo
Memos are digital notes that can be used to record observations or comments on the map. Selecting a color helps with quick retrieval and categorization. The currently selected memo on the map is highlighted in white.
The GPS coordinates of the observation are also automatically noted in the Memo.
Location
Determining the exact location in the field helps you to navigate to specific locations on the map. The position is determined using the hardware of the cell phone, tablet or PC (via GNSS, WLAN or mobile radio).
Maps
The “Map” menu item takes you to the general map view. All entries belonging to the account are displayed here in map view. A basic map is always displayed in the background. By clicking on the selection button, you can currently choose between 2 different views. While “TWC Map” displays a classic map with information such as land cover, contour lines, building footprints or hiking trails, “TWC Aerial Image” offers the option of displaying the latest aerial image of the region (source: ESRI World Imagery).
Thematic Maps
Benefit from precise maps and up-to-date location information to support every project. You can easily upload Thematic Maps with geolocalized information and make them available to the project teams. If the objects on the Thematic Maps contain further information, it will be displayed in a window after clicking on the object..
Additional Maps
The WaldCursor offers additional information from external providers that is displayed directly in the map view. The Following sources are currently available here:g:
The mobile network monitor of the Federal Network Agency shows the network coverage of all network providers for the whole of Germany.
The precipitation radar of the German Weather Service (DWD) is a real-time image of the current precipitation situation over Germany.
The Forest Rescue Points of the Board of Trustees for Forestry and Forestry Management are official rescue points that should be indicated in an emergency in order to inform the emergency services of the current location.
The Tama WaldCursor Marketplace, also referred to as the TWC Marketplace, is a map layer that can be activated. It features a variety of players in forestry and environment. Clicking on an icon will open an information window.

Measure
A distance or area can be measured on the map by selecting the corresponding button. Click on “Perform a new measurement” to set a point on the map. Another point displays the distance between the two points. An additional third point also displays the area in hectares. Double-click or click on “End measurement” to complete the current measurement.
Filter
Use the Filter button to customize your screen display. You can filter tasks and memos by type, theme, and assignment. You can combine filter modes as you like to display the map view you need. Changes made by activating or deactivating filters are displayed directly on the map.
Satellite Time Series
First, please mark an area on the map for which you would like to use our satellite monitoring service. Once the area has been uploaded, satellite data is automatically provided and analyzed for the area, including a 500-meter fringe around it. First, the last 12 months are taken into account, and then the database is searched weekly for new images. You will receive an email notification as soon as new images are available in your account.
